Title: Alien Ecology / MicroDreams / Observational Body
Media|Acrylic Fluorescent Paint
Size|27cm wide x 34.2
Year of creation|2019
Creator|linlin
Description of the work|
Like a giant eye, the work is a living entity—an observer and the observed. The central form is the pupil of the eye, with two fluorescent, floating objects at the center of vision.
You construct the image with flowing curves and contrasting colors, combined with golden dot-like particles, creating a visual effect that is both microscopic and cosmic. It resembles life under a magnifying glass, or a visual expression of alien consciousness. The dialogue between bright yellow, orange, and green and deep blue is not just a color, but an exchange of energy.
This is a painting about inner contemplation and the movement of life:
What you see is an eye, but it is looking at you.
You think it is a metamorphosis, but it is becoming you.
"Our emotions and memories multiply into another form of life in our hearts."
About the Creator|linlin
Lilin is a visual designer and artist. With over thirty years of experience in design and visual communication, she excels at transforming graphic language into a vessel for emotion, navigating the gap between design logic and artistic intuition. Her years of honed aesthetic sensitivity imbue her work with a visual energy that naturally blends layers and meanings.
She holds a profound interest in the psychological dimension of artistic thought, long-term focused on the connections between emotion, subconsciousness, symbols, and self-perception. Using acrylic and fluorescent pigments, she constructs "alien ecosystems" that drift between reality and the inner self—unnameable biological forms, floating visual lines, liquid emotions... all becoming her means of observing her inner self.
The purpose of creation is not to reproduce the concrete world, but to call the viewer into a certain psychological and sensory space, in which language is forgotten and perception is picked up.
